Is SMS worth adding to your marketing?

We're teaming up with SlickText for a free workshop on where SMS marketing fits next to email, and when it's actually worth the time and cost, on September 14th at 1PM CT.

Whether you're curious or ready to launch, here's what's covered:

  • When and why you should consider adding SMS
  • How to stay compliant
  • Crafting SMS campaigns that get clicks
  • The best way to automate the process

No matter where you're starting from, you'll walk away knowing how SMS works and if it's right for you.

Introducing Webhooks 2.0

Webhooks just got a major update so you have more ways to automate more of your business with real-time data.

  • One place for everything: All your webhooks—the ones you set up and the ones from integrated apps—now live in a dedicated home under Automate.
  • More to build with: New webhooks mean you can react to more of what’s happening in your account, like new subscribers, tag changes, and sequence or broadcast milestones.
  • Building something custom: Use webhooks to power your own app. Explore developer docs here.

Alert your team in Slack, sync new subscribers to Airtable, or level up the Zapier flows you’ve already built. All done with webhooks from Kit.

Add notes to your Visual Automations

Did you know you can make your life easier and add notes to specific nodes in your Visual Automations? Click the "Add notes" icon in the top left of a node to type and save your notes.

How you can use notes in your Visual Automations

  • Give your future self a refresher: If you've set some interesting logic in a Condition node, you might jot down a short description of how it works to save your future self some time.
  • Remind yourself to change something later: If you know you'll want to update a node in the future, write it down in a note. For example, maybe you will want to add a new Product trigger to kick off an existing Visual Automation.
  • Add context for your team: If you have multiple team members that work in your account, it can help everyone to add notes explaining the purpose of certain nodes in your Visual Automations.
