How to save time by automating your newsletter

Running a newsletter is fun and rewarding, but the demand to constantly create can be a slippery slope to creative burnout. Thankfully, you can work smarter instead of harder by using email newsletter automation. Get our best tips for putting the most time-consuming parts of your newsletter on autopilot.

💡 Set up a thank you landing page for new subscribers

Be sure to thank new subscribers after they sign up for your email list. Set up your landing pages to automatically redirect them to a thank you page after they click the “Subscribe” button. Read more about thank you pages.

Here are a few ways to use your thank you page:

  • Keep the new subscriber experience seamless and cohesive. By matching the visual style and tone of the thank you page with the rest of your website, the subscription process feels smooth and easy.
  • Confirm that a subscription went through successfully. Share a confirmation message to give your new subscriber confidence that they’re on your list. Or if you use a double opt-in for new subscribers (which we recommend, by the way), your thank you page can nudge your subscriber to head to their email to confirm their subscription.
  • Let your new subscriber know what to do next. Prompt subscribers to follow you on social media, watch a welcome video, or check out one of your products or offerings. Need some inspiration? Check out these 10 thank you page examples.
