Use a Link Trigger to start an action when a subscriber clicks a link
A Link Trigger is a link that's also set up to automatically trigger a particular action, like adding Tags, subscribing them to Sequences, and much more, as soon as a subscriber clicks on it.
How you can use Link Triggers
- Automatically enroll subscribers in an email sequence: Add subscribers to a email sequence when they click on a link to indicate interest.
- Kick off an abandoned cart Visual Automation: Set up a Link Trigger to tag a subscriber when they click on a product link. Then use this tag to kick off an abandoned cart automation encouraging them to buy if they don't purchase that same day.
- Set a custom field: If a subscriber clicks on an article about a certain topic, you can set a custom field to track their interest. Then use this custom field to personalize future emails.
