Recommendations: now one unified view

Your Recommendations used to live across two separate pages—one for who's recommending you, one for who you're recommending. Not anymore.

Now all your incoming and outgoing matches are in one place. So it’s easy to see where your growth is coming from.

Use email aliases to test your opt-ins

Chances are you've signed up to your own form or landing page before, just as a test. This is a great way to verify exactly what a new subscriber will experience when they sign up to your list. However, you only have so many email addresses to use for testing. That's where email aliases can help.

Email aliases are a simple and convenient way to "pretend" that you're using a new email address, while still receiving the emails to the same inbox. All you have to do is add a + sign and then some text at the end of the first part of your email.

For example, if your email address is yourname@gmail.com, then while testing you can use:

  • yourname+1@gmail.com
  • yourname+formtest@gmail.com
  • yourname+productlaunchtest@gmail.com

NOTE: Many major email providers (including Gmail and G Suite addresses) support email aliases, but not all of them. Be sure to double-check whether this is supported by your email provider before using this trick!

Why your next growth breakthrough will come from another creator

Your next business MVP isn’t your email list, your course catalog, or your book deal. It’s the creator sitting two doors down at the coffee shop. The one you haven’t met yet.
